The End of an Era
Chase is gone and I am super bummed. I haven't updated my blog for a couple reasons. I was waiting to get my mac, which I now have. I didn't want to continue to put videos on my desktop when I had mac on the way. Also, YouTube is being faggoty and slow and it is a trial/test of my willpower every single time I try to upload a video on the dang site. Anyhow, I can promise a huge amount of videos will be posted real soon. I have some pretty retarded stuff from like the past two weeks.
Even though I posted it in my last entry, Chase has kept his blog up for the past amount of time that I haven't so until I get all the other videos loaded, check his blog and keep up. I would bet that at any given time one of us has had something posted about our adventures, if not both of us.
Tonight is poker, wish you were here Chase!

Slow updating
I haven't updated this in the past few days, at least not much. This is due in part to coming home late from hanging with Chase since he is leaving soon, as well as me being semi-lazy. I also have a bone to pick with YouTube for being so ridiculously slow at uploading videos. I have so many awesome videos that last longer than a minute and a half. Oh well, I am uploading some now. I'll post them tonight after I work at American Apparel.

5 points
Saturday night I went to 5 points to hangout with Brandon, Jeff, and Aaron. We chilled on the bench we usually chill on, and watched people. We saw a homeless lady get arrested for making out with her bf in public, as well as being drunk in public and haing an open container. It was pretty funny though, because she just screamed at the police oficer while they waited for the paddywagon. Also, her dude got up and ran off and left her to get arrested. Silly.
I have a few videos of a different homeless guy who told me he wanted to be on my blog, so I filmed him a few times doing his "Pepsi commercial" as well ad singing for us. I will post them tonight.
Today I am at work and I wanna go eat lunch with Chase. Hopefully it happens.

Baby Wizards
I forgot to post this on Thursday night, but I forgot. Thursday night at trivia Baby Wizards won, so we are reigning champions once again. We rule.
Its been hectic.
It has been a crazy past couple of days, but I have a few videos to post.
I am about to go hit up Monterreys with Zach, he talked me into it.
Ok so go back to last weekend. Warped Tour Jacksonville. I filmed a beginning of the roadtrip video to start things off. Check it out here. Please check out Andy's cat-pillow in the background. Its pretty incredible.
While we are driving down to Jax, Andy falls asleep. This is a terrible idea. Watch his face when BJ sticks a tiny banana in his ear:

Back from band practice
Just had mexican with Zach, and good lord it was delicious. I love mexican food, especially Monterreys. I have been uploading more videos from the show we played last Friday/hanging out afterwards. Heres more:
I don't know if you are into nu-metal or not, but the band Disturbed is completely terrible. I wish I could joke around and act like bands like that are good, but I can't kid around about it because some people won't get the sarcasm. Anyhow, nu-metal is garbage and the band Disturbed is too. However, I somehow convinced Parker to let me write "Disturbed" over his stomach like a tattoo. I did it right above where someone else had drawn some weird tribal star or something haggard. After I did this, I convinced Jeff and a few people around Parker to do that cool noise the singer from Disturbed does, and this is what came out:
Look at Eric flapping his arms like wing. Too funny.
On the way to eat after the show I saw a super redneck truck that I would love to own, you can see if you feel the same.
After eating dinner and the video where Byron ate the entire sundae, we were leaving and we took a cool pro USA video outside of Yesterdays. Check out little Bryan on the lightpost, as well as multiple people shouting "Freedom isn't free!" Greatest country in the world.
After we had Yesterdays, Andy, Little Bryan,Bj and myself all rolled to the pool/hottub. After hanging out and relaxing for a while, we all get into the pool, and some funny things were said and done. Here are a few of them. Mom and Dad, don't watch these either!
The first is a CLIP of BJ, Andy, and Bryan having a contest to see who can slam their faces into the water the hardest. It sounds completely stupid and juvenile, but it really is completely funny. If you don't think so, cool. I do! At the beginning of that last clip, Andy actually uses the phrase "bein happenin." WHAT!?
Round 2 of that first video can be found HERE. Just as funny.
After this got old we moved the party back to the hottub, where we started spitting on each other. Pretty gross I know, my parents will be proud. Check this clip of the spit game:
After the first round, I surprised BJ with a shot to the face, no pun intended.
This is the best part:
I will end this post with a video of me peeing in the pool. Is it real, or is it fake? You be the judge!
I hav like 30 more videos to upload from the Jacksonville trip this past weekend. I am uploading them now and will post some tommorrow. Until then!

Not enough hours in a day
I have decided that I completely agree with that statement. I've been at work since 8 am, I worked until 5:30, and then wanted to layout and workout prior to band practice at 7:30. I also wanted to upload some of the videos and try and get that taken care of, but there simply is not enough time to do all of them. I have uplaoded some of the videos, so here is a sneak preview of the awesomeness that has been the last 4 or 5 days:
In keeping with my random sightings of wacky vanity plates on vehicles, you may enjoy seeing this tag that says "SKALADY."
Also, one of my favorite new country artists out is Brad Paisley, who sings multiple awesome songs that I can relate to and enjoy singing along to in my car. One of those songs is "Still a Guy," which you can see me sing here. I did this more or less for my parents, who have rarely seen me sing. Also, this song is a lyrical portrayal of my father, which means its awesome.
At the Spring Break 98/Red Baron show, I filmed the Spring Break 98 merch table, so those of you who haven't had the pleasure of seeing us live can look at some of the items you might find at one of our shows:
Also, I should give a shoutout to Beej for the sick artwork on that new shirt. Even though he doesn't read my blog(LOSER, TERRIBLE FRIEND,he deserves the mention.
Speaking of BJ, we made a deal at the show that my parents probably aren't gonna be stoked on, so Mom and Dad don't watch this next video. We basicly made a deal concerning winning the lottery, so keep that in mind when you watch THE $5 Million Deal.
I have the entire Spring Break/Red Baron set that I will upload to youtube, but that will be a few days before it is complete. Youtube is so slow.
After the show, we said our goodbyes and Andy met Jeff, Brandon, and a few other friends at Yesterdays to get some food. Ourplan was to eat at Yesterdays and then hit up a local pool and hottub, which we did(more on that later). At Yesterdays, which is a bar/restaurant, we were eating and Jeff bet Byron $5 that he couldn't eat the entire Oreo Brownie Sundae himself. Byron accepted, and this was the result:
I am about to head to band practice. When I get home, I will finish uploading more videos, and try to post as many as I can tonight.
Peace!

I have like 30, and alot of them are from the pool party after, which was awesome. Ill post them soon, promise. Meanwhile, warped tour tommorrow! VIP, that's how we live!

Positively Positive
I should have just added this to my last post, but whatever. There is this guy who comes to the warehouse every morning, and he is without a doubt the most polite, nice, completely selfless perosn I have ever met. He is always in a good mood, always upbeat, and always happy. I am a pretty laid back, in a good mood person myself, but this guy is a different breed. I'm not going to lie, I'm envious. I suppose that there have to be people like that as an example, more or less showing that its completely possible to be stoked that you are alive every moment. I also should add this guy is old enough to be my dad. I can only hope that by the time I am that age, I will be just as happy.
"Straightedge til the day I rest in peace"
The show last night was awesome. Spring Break and The Red Baron both set it off. I feel like we could have been tighter, but I also couldn't really hear Mike's drums from my side of the stage. Its all good. We had a blast and we have another show next week. Its also always good to see Red Baron dudes, because they are legit dudes and we love them so much. I have like 25 or 30 videos from yesterday, including both the Spring Break 98 and Red Baron sets. Its Friday and that means guys night, so I don't know how many I will have uploaded tonight. Tomorrow I am going to change the oil in my car, so I will finish uploading tomorrow what I don't get done tonight. I will at least post a few, including my friend Parker with a fake "Disturbed" tattoo on his stomach. I am at work, and I aced my math placement tests. Advisement appt. On Monday. College bound! Its about time, considering I graduated in 2002. I'm getting old. That's alright with me though, because my grandma used to say about my grandpa "oldie but a goodie." That is what's up.
Sidenote-I am standing beside thug Mike(cm punk) and he just said to tell whoever I was typing to that he is "livin' large."

Long day...
Wednesdays are the longest day of the week for me. I work both of my jobs, which isn't super hard, but from 7:30 a.m. until around 10 p.m. I am working. I say I am working that long, but neither of my jobs is really hard. Whatever, its just exhausting in general. I'll complain if I want. I'm listening to A Day to Remember, and uploading the only video I took today. It is of the people I work with at American Apparel. In this clip you will see Mel, Coombs, Emily, and Jordan. They are discussing how some girls have "envelope boobs." I honestly don't really have a clue what those are, but the video should explain it? I guess see for yourself:
Other than that, today has been terrible and long. I don't know how well Spring Break 98 is gonna sound tommorrow. Mcfadden peaced out to Charleston for the night, so we couldn't practice. Andy Jr. is coming over to go over songs with me right now, and Bj has not had many chances to go over the vocal patterns that he most def wanted to update. I am sure we will pull it off, but it may be a little rough. However, these are the shirts we will have for sale. You should probably come buy one because they are DOPE:
Oh wait, I forgot to mention the visors. Yea, I said VISORS. DOES YOUR BAND HAVE VISORS?! Nope.
We win!
Come see Spring Break 98 tommorrow night at New Brookland Tavern! 6pm, and theres a ton of other good bands. Red Baron, Dead Hearts, Fallen From the Sky, and Whole Wheat Bread. Get into it.

Beard growth
I finally stopped being a girl and decided to take up attempting to grow a beard as a hobby. I mean, a side hobby to all of the other 2348762345 things I like to do and do well. Anyhow, here are some recent pictures to document the 2-3 week period since I last shaved, as well as one picture at the river where I look bewildered and BJ looks like a homeless war vet:

I can honestly understand now the connection between mena dn their facial hair. At this point, I don't want to shave mine off. I hated it for the first 2 weeks or so, but now its almost like a little animal. I just wanna take care of it, you know? I'm become emotionally attached to it.

July 4th Weekend
I have like twenty something videos to put on here from the past weekend. I am trying to figure out how many look the same, alot of them are from fishing, so it looks real similar. I haven't posted cause ive been out of town, and today I worked all day. I'm still tired and am about to goto sleep. I am going to go ahead and post some of the videos now, and I will post the rest as they get uploaded.
On the trip down, I took multiple videos of the drive cause I was so bored:
Video 1 - I was bored.
Video 2 - Crossing into Georgia.
Video 3 - Still driving, still bored.
Some cool trees and a lake I passed. It had quit raining at this point and I may have still been listening to Band of Horses. (Thanks for the cd Zach.)
On the way to Georgia I passed an suv from North Carolina that had an amazing license plate. It was a vanity tag that said "RFLCPTR." So funny. See that in two videos:
RFLCPTR 1
RFLCPTR 2
Over the weekend I got to fish with my friend Kayla and my Dad. I took a ton of videos to provide an idea of what the pond that I am used to fishing out of looks like, as well as to provide a clear idea of what size/how many fish can be caught out of it. We fished for probably about 3.5 hours, and caught roughly 20-25 fish?
Here are a few highlights:
Fishing 1 - Kenny Kelly, bookmark this.
Fishing 2 - This fish skims across the water, sweeeet. He wasn't that big, but had alot of fight in him.
My Dad kisses a fish and I follow suit - Thats about as good an explanation as I can get.
My Dad tosses one back - Not big enough.
Spitting sunflower seeds - I spit bbq flavored sunflower seeds into the largemouth. Degar, I know how you always wanna do things to animals you catch. Get jealous!
This is what we catch all day, if you haven't seen in the other videos:
When we got home from fishing, prior to cleaning the 4 that we kept, my Dad lined them up and had me take a few clips, so click HERE and HERE for fish vidz. We found some pretty interesting things in a few of their mouths:
Alright, so after we get done fishing, we get to shoot the AK-47. So stoked.
Here are a few clips:
The other 2 videos of us shooting the AK are HERE and HERE.
I will say that the AK is the most INACCURATE assault rifle I have ever shot. The sights may be a little off as well, but either way noone was hitting anything. I guess that's why its called spray and pray.

We can spell "Iroquois" correctly; proof inside!
I don't have a ton of time to update this right now, seeing as I am trying to rush out of the apartment to go see my rents and chill. Its about to storm in Columbia, so thats real awesome. Driving in the rain is never fun.
Anyhow, I have multiple videos to post, and I will try and give as much background info to each as I can without spending too much time doing so. Here goes.
If you are familiar with wrestling, which I am not, you may have heard of CM Punk. Apparently he is a straightedge wrestler. Anyhow, HERE is a video of Mike from work running by proclaiming that he is CM Punk.
My workplace is pretty redneck, so yesterday we had a cookout to celebrate the 4th of July. Id like to call it "Freedom Food." Check it:
Another video of me on my first plate. I hope you guys like the camoflauge shotgun shell that keeps my drink cold.
I was delivering yesterday and drove by Williams-Brice Stadium, the home of the Gamecocks. I took a short clip with a decent view, and you can see the awesome looking townhouses they are building up round it. I think they are townhouses? Maybe they are duplex/apartments. Who cares. Check it HERE.
As I was driving around the Stadium I took another clip, not as good a view as the first, but then just rambled. I probably shouldnt have uploaded it and you shouldn't waste your time, but at least you can see the 9mm I carry. Guns are cool, right?
After I got home from work I worked out, then got ready for trivia on Thursdays. Pretty stoked. We ended up doing terrible, but still had a ton of fun. Here are a few videos of the fun we had:
On the drive to Hudsons for trivia, I filmed Andy's new look, which includes the lack of any facial hair and a nice clean looking haircut to top it off. I haven't ever seen him without facial hair since I've known him. He also declares that he hsn't been clean shaven in 9 years. This is a big deal! We are also driving on Broad River, which is where I used to live and got held at gunpoint. We end it by saying how we want some dudes boat? We rule.
Clip of a trivia question to spell the word "Iroquois." We promptly got it right!
This is a longer clip of us talking and generally dicking around. "I Will Survive" was blaring and I show you my half eaten bbq sandwich. Also, I declare that I am drunk, which we all know is completely FALSE.
In this last one, we are trying to answer a question. I believe serious Degar is in this one, so watch out. Bj ends up saying something hilarious at the end. Please follow the instructions he gives:
Endnote, the sweet tea was bangin' last night! Love my life!

Meet Mike
Yesterday I recorded a few clips and finally finished uploading them. The first one I am going to show you is another Bojangles clip. I can't get enough of their cajun chicken filet biscuit, and when I try to order, I completely forgot what the potato rounds are called. I froze and called them "things." Awesome. Then the guy corrects me and says "Bo Rounds?" which is short for "Botato Rounds." I love it. Check that clip out HERE.
The next clip I have is a short one of the people I work with just talking. You can see Fred and Lacretia on the right, and Zolene, Scott, and George on the left. George is the old white guy on the left, back corner. He is a complete hardass and I hope that I can interview him for my blog one day. He rules. For instance, he was discussing Mike (whom you will see with Brady in a video I will post in a second) and how Mike talks a big game about fighting people, shooting people etc. In reference to Mike, he stated "One day his alligator mouth is gonna get his hummingbird ass in trouble." I lost it, and now George is my favorite coworker. Anyhow, in this video, you see Scott being perverted, and all of them are discussing the free coffee at Mcdonalds on Wednesday. Zolene states, "You can't say free around me!" and that it possibly the most accurate/hilarious statement I have on film thus far, partly because I know her and partly because she is black. So stereotypical, but so funny. I'm probably going to hell, but WATCH THIS VIDEO.
Next up is Mike and Brady. Brady you have met before, while Mike is new to the game. Also chill and trill, Mike works in the office and not in the warehouse with us. Mike is completely awesome, tried to sell me a.357 magnum for $250 bucks, and also has been quoted as saying "It's hotter than two rats fucking in a wool sock." for the record, that was a quote, not out of my mouth. Check out Mike and Brady HERE.
Last but most certainly not least, I have a video of Brady and Sean. Brady was talking to me before I pulled out the camera and said something, so I had to film him telling Sean what he told me. What he said was "I should turn myself in, or it should be a crime, that I steal all these womenz heartz." I'm not kidding. Just watch the video. He also uses the word "Pimpjuice." PIMPJUICE! SERIOUSLY! Click HERE if you would like some PIMPJUICE, straight from Brady.
I just got home from trivia and I am going to upload some pretty good footage from there right now. Another post in a bit, after I beat some tail in Call of Duty 4. If you read this and want my gamertag, holla at me.

Country music rules
I'm driving to work this morning and three country songs that I love came on the radio, back to back to back. Stoked. I think today is gonna be a good day. I haven't finished uploading the videos from yesterdya, but rest assured they are worth the wait. Ill post them lafter today, for sure.
Tonight is trivia, lovin' life! Hopefully we will do good, even with Chase and Erin not there.
Endnote- I have a crush on Megan Fox.

Laying out
So I am on my sidekick, laying out by the pool before I have to go into American Apparel. I have some videos of Brady and this other guy Mike that I will post when I get home. I plan on taking a few at AA too, because Mel is hilarious. We will see what happens. Chase is at Cornerstone, aka we can't hangout. Dear Chase, hope your set and tour goes well. Come home soon, love Chris.

Mona Lisa
Boy did today turn out crazy. I have show videos in apst posts about where I work and what I do, etc. I didn't really get to show who I work with, or better yet the kind of people I work with. Allow me to introduce you to Brady. Brady is probably 8 to 10 years oldr than me, has a pitbull tattoo on his leg that says "killer" up under it, and is into old school rap. He basicly rules. I recorded like 3 videos today of Brady showing me music he is into, and him singing Mona Lisa. Click on the individual links for different videos, and make sure to do it in order.
Brady number 1-In this clip Brady is trying to get me to check his Funkmaster Flash mix cd. He is straight chillin.
Brady number 2-More of the same. Make sure to pay attention to how he is dancing and grooving, its amazing. Also listen to how I talk to him, my language is on point. "The Lox is whats up!"
Brady number 3-In this video you will see Fred, an older white guy I work with. Fred rules too, he is reading the news on a bucket?! My life rules. Brady at this point is on his cell phone I believe. When he gets out of his car, watch his left hand movement. CRUCIAL!
Brady singing "Mona Lisa" by Slick Rick!-I put on Slick Rick and Brady tells me how he was listening to Slick Rick when I was 2 or 3. HAHA!! He then sings it for a minute before this other guy named Caesar pulls up and calls us crackers. I love my life!
NEWSFLASH!
On the ride home, I finally got to get out my flip in time to see a guy commuting on a dirtbike. Not kidding. When you watch this, make sure to notice how perfect the timing was when I pointed the camera out of the window. He rides by at the perfect time. It almost looks planned:
I am about to hit up Spring Break 98 band practice, and then who knows. Maybe I will have more videos to upload after that. Peace!

You know gas is expensive....
When you see dirtbikes on the interstate. I wish I would have videotaped it. I couldn't get my camera out quickly enough. I haven't decided if I am going to go home for the 4th of July weekend or not. I have off this entire weekend. Guess we will see.
As I am listening to sports talk radio, I heard that Barry Bonds record breaking homerun ball will NOT be placed in the hall of fame. So stoked on that.
I am going to update this again later tonight with videos of my coworker Brady and I listening to old hip hop. They are pretty hilarious, or maybe its just Brady.
On a more serious note, I'm super thankful for my awesome friends. Real talk, Columbia > everywhere in the solid friends department.

Everybody wants to rule the world
So last night we had band practice and I didn't take any video, but I did take video of the Sonic trip afterwards. BJ had just come from playing basketball, and was wearing a Shai Hulud shirt that says "Misanthropy Pure." I taped a clip of a conversation between us asking what his fellow basketball players thought of his shirt. Pretty funny. Click HERE to see it.
Alos, Chase ate a moth, and thenw as peer pressured into eating another one on camera. You can watch Chase eat a moth HERE.
Lastly, BJ and I got approached by a girl who works there about our tattoos and such, and then we had a conversation about piercings. She has just gotten her lip pierced and said it was swollen, but I couldn't tell because she was black. Thats not racist, thats just real talk. Check it:
Back to work. Hopefully something cool/funny will happen so I can videotape it.

MewithoutYou
Heres that clip from the show the other night, sorry youtube takes forever to upload stuff.
Helping people
Just got home from work, extremely tired. For some reason my feet hurt really bad, I suppose it was from standing up almost all of yesterday while we fished. I didn't think about it until today, but we legitimately fished for 4 or 5 hours, or so it seems. Maybe thats not a long time to anyone else, but my feet are hurtin', so whatever. Woke up this morning and was 15 minutes late to work because of a train. What garbage. Every single morning I get up, and I take a left onto Huger St., and theres a train. Every day I tell myself while stopped at said train: "I am definetly taking a right and going down Assembly tommorrow...." Sadly, I never take my own sound advice. I'm sure tommorrow morning will be the exact same thing. In the words of Chase, "The true meaning of ignorance is repeating the same process and expecting different results." Or something like that.
So I get to work and get my first delivery, its to the Branhams off of Devine. I drive downtown and deliver the part. As I'm leaving, about a half mile from Branham's is an old white Ford, ripoff of a Geo Metro with a flat tire. There is a woman standing beside it kind of looking confused/hot as hell because its burning up outside. This woman had to be late 70's or early 80's. She was OLD. I stopped my car because there was no traffic and asked her if she needed help. It was obvious that she wasn't going to change the tire herself, so I offered to do it for her. She thanked me after and tried to pay me, but I couldn't at all find it in me to take her money. It was both satisfying and depressing at the same time. I was really torn between emotions after this ordeal. Let me explain. Helping someone else is so ridiculously gratifying, especially when you are helping someone do what they cannot do alone. Its completely wonderful and I am 100% sure I got this trait from my Mom. Well from Jesus, but you know. Anyhow, while I was so stoked that I got to help this lady out, I was so not stoked on the fact that she is old as crap, driving a beat up piece of a car that probably didnt have air conditioning, while I zoom around town in my air conditioned 2000 Taurus. I almost wanted to trade cars with her. Part of me really believes she deserves it more than I do anyways. I hate seeing older people in bad positions, because you know they've probably been through some major junk in their life. So that was a bummer, but what can you do. I am thankful that I was given an opportunity to help someone and took it, because I know there have probably been times when I haven't taken those kind of opportunities because I'm a selfish ass. I've got a lot of making up to do! Ok no more sad things, praise God for allowing me to help someone.
So today I have only made two videos, at least thus far. I started one in the Bojangles drive thru, while i was getting myself a cajun chicken biscuit combo w/sweet tea. I was discussing Bojangles and then randomly noticed Alabama on 94.3 or whatever. So stoked, so I sang along. It turned out decent, at least I don't sound like a complete idiot. I mean, at least the song is fitting to my life. Watch me introduce Bojangles/sing Alabama's "Born Country" HERE.
The second video was a little later, and I was on the interstate taking an auto part to Lexington. I saw this sweet truck and decided to show everyone what I want in a vehicle. Kind of lame, but this is my blog, so I'll include a Short CLIP of a jacked up truck if I want to.
Also, if anyone who reads this lives in the Georgia/South Carolina area and knows of anyone selling a mid 90s big truck, especially diesel, get at me.
I am about to go workout and then band practice. I'm sure I will update this again at some point tonight. Peace!

Lots of Videos, Only one F-bomb
HUGE VIDEO POST, WATCH THEM ALL.
Also, if you read this, bookmark it or subscribe to it so my sitemeter doesn't get confused about how many different people look at this awesome documentation!
The last post I made I left out a few videos made from the Florida trip. On the drive home, we stopped at Krystal to get some food for me. HERE is a video of the drive thru. I also made a SHORT CLIP earlier in the day of me touching Chases face, which you may or may not find humorous. Either way, I put up both of them for your entertainment and for nostalgic purposes. Near the end of the trip another VIDEO was filmed of Andy and I listening to Green Day. Chase and Erin were sleeping babies, and I look high as eagle balls. Sweet. Check it out too.
Prior to Chase and Erin going to sleep, Chase filmed all of us singing along to Merle Haggards "Mama Tried." If you aren't into Merle, I don't really think you should read my blog anymore. Anyhow, watch us sing along in this amazing video:
Now to todays fun! Originally we planned to go to Bj's father-in-law's pond, so Andy picked up Chase and I and we drove there. We met up with Beej and Megan and Mr. Mickey(Megan's father). I filmed a small clip when we got out of the car, highlighting our expectations for the day. HERE it is. We basicly got there, casted between 5 and 7 times, and it started raining. We left and watched the first part of the European 2008 soccer final, Spain vs. Germany (which Spain later won 1--0). We waited out the rain for 20 mins or so, then drove to a pond near Bj's house to try fishing again. I filmed a SHORT CLIP at the beginning of the different pond, as well as a completely heinous video of a huge wolf spider carrying its egg sac. In the video, Andy and Chase poke the spider, Bj uses his fishing lure to scare Andy, and then they poke the spider into the water. At this point BJ gets freaked out and flees the scene. Pretty funny. Click HERE to watch it.
***Another video I forgot I filmed was the hole Chase tore in his shorts from bending over. Thats what happens when you squat alot and your butt gets bigger. Click HERE to see it.
Last but not least, see Chase watching my blog from my house prior to us going to church HERE. On point!
My friends are awesome, my life is awesome. I win!

For the weak, not for the strong...
I just woke up, and I am bummed that I didn't wake up in time to go layout before going fishing. Oh well. Yesterday was pretty eventful. I woke up around 8:45 and met Chase and Andy at Chases place. We then proceeded to pick up Erin and hit the road for Jax, Florida. The Red Baron had a show, and once again spur of the moment I decided to ride down with him. During the 4 hour long drive, there were quite a few things that were taped and said that need to be recognized. First and foremost. I decided I am going to quit using the f bomb and gd. I definetly say both of those way too much, considering once a day is probably too much. I don't need those words to make things funnier, or for more emphasis on whatever it is I am talking about. I'll use other things, which you can preview in THIS VIDEO. I hope you enjoy it. **Sidenote-I only said the F bomb 3 times yesterday, 4 if you count the Down to Nothing sing along video, and said gd 0 times. Thats whats up!
Also, Andy and I were listening to Through the Eyes of the Dead, a pretty awesome South Carolina metal band. We pulled out some roman candles that we didnt use on the last trip, and went to town air guitar and mouth music style. It's pretty crucial, so check it:
To continue with the video updates, we listened to Down to Nothing (as mentioned earlier) and videotaped the sing along to "Smash It." If you aren't into this band, get into them, they are bomb. If you are into cool videos, check this.
I am about to leave to go fishing, and I have more Red Baron footage to upload that will probably take days. I'll post it when its done. I also have one last video of a band called With Blood Comes Cleansing. Heaviest band at the show, and thats saying alot considering there were 14 bands or so, and Impending Doom and Sleeping Giant were also on the bill. Here's a quick clip from their set, it doesn't even do them justice, but is still super heavy.
Also, add my youtube account if you want to see Spring Break band practices, Red Baron footage, and other videos that are too big to put on Photobucket. Peace!

It was bound to happen...
I got bored last night and made a video before I went to bed. If you aren't into guns, home security, ak 47's, or anything awesome, don't watch this video.
Also, in case anyone actually wondered, the Smith and Wesson Model 39 is a 9mm. I did not specify that in the video. I will also say that while I have a 9mm, I would advise investing in a .40 or .45 if you are going to buy a pistol. 9mm is just too small.
Also, I promise I'm not crazy.

Spring Break 98
Just got home from Spring Break 98 practice, as well as the Mewithoutyou show. Practice was good, taught Andy Jr. another song. Three down, one to go. I have two videos of us goofing around at practice. If you are interested you can see them here and here.
The Mewithoutyou show was solid, at least the parts we saw. Chase and I got in for free and I hooked it up with coke and limes all around. By all around I mean Chase and I. We toasted, and our good friend and awesome dude Ben Walker took a video of the toast.
Good times were had!

Just got home...
Just got home from work, and I as I step out of my car I hear a terrible noise coming from the pool area. As I get my bearings on where the noise pollution is flowing from, I see that some bro and his friends are playing volleyball. One of said bros has parked his doorless jeep wrangler(yellow in color) beside the pool(halfway in between pool and volleyball court). There are probably 20 people or so at the pool, and all of them are having to suffer through the loud as hell music this dude is pushing on everyone. I should probably add that he didn't have much of a stereo, and the music was turned up so loud that all the speakers were muffled/scratchy from rattling. I perked my ears to try and figure out what it is he was rockin', and suddenly the revelation hit me!
THATS SYSTEM OF A DOWN!
AWESOME!
I almost made a Flip video, but it was upstairs in my room. Bummer.
In other news, I uploaded a video of my friends and I goofing around outside Hudsons Bbq after trivia last night. I should preface this video with a few things. First of all, my friends and I play lots and lots of games. These games are played 24/7 and something is always happening pertaining to these games when we hang out. I am going to explain two of them to you the best I can. Maybe I will make a video of the explanation later, who knows. Ok here goes. Game numbero uno is the "mine" game. If you answer any question at all with the word "mine," you have to drop immediatly and do 10 pushups. An example would be me asking Andy Jr. "Thats a cool hat you have on. Who's is that?" If Andy replies with "It's mine!" he has to drop and do pushups. To avoid saying "mine," one could say "this belongs to me," "it belong to me," etc. Basicly if you are asked a question, any question AT ALL, and you answer using the word "mine," you are doing 10 pushups. In the video, I ask Zach "Who's car did you ride here in?" Hoping that Andy would hear me and blurt out "Mine!" without thinking too much about it. Andy did see my ploy however, and dodged 10 pushups.
Second game is semi new. Basicly you will see me make a face in the Hudsons video, and you will see Chase make the same face. Using both hands and turning them upside down to form a mask, you turn around to face everyone. If you make eye contact with someone who doesn't have a "monacle" over their one of their eyes, they have to lay flat on the ground. A monacle would be formed by creating a circle between thumb and forefinger and placing it over your eye. After you watch the video this will be a bit clearer. I hope that wasn't too confusing.
View the video HERE.

Since I created this blog, I have had multiple people ask me why I created it in the first place. The same question ("why?") has been asked about multiple things I have done and posted about, including but not limited to fishing and catching a fish naked, eating whataburger and filming it, and making videos of where I live.
I bought the flip just to keep a record of all the amazing things that happen in my life and to film the crazy things my friends and I do. Think of my blog as a video documentary, or a vocumentary if you will. I will obviously use words and pictures as well, but not as often as videos. Basicly, I just decided to document my life.
"This is the only chance we will ever get, so make the most of it-live life with no regrets. Live life while you can or life will pass you by. If you've already given in then you've already died."

Pedal faster!
Recently, Chase and I were discussing the abundant sightings of people riding their bikes in too high of a gear. I was driving to work this morning, and the usual path taken goes right through downtown. This particular morning, I counted three cases of the "pedaling fast as hell but going nowhere" syndrome. I really don't get it. Do people not understand that they could switch gears and move quicker? It honestly looks completely ridiculous when you see it. Their legs are flailing everywhere and they are going NOWHERE! I am baffled. I just don't get it.
Anyways, today is Friday, which rules because that means payday. Last night at trivia we got 3rd place, but were content with our score. It was our first night ever that we had a perfect score for the first half. Pretty sweet.
This weekend should be good times. Tonight is guys night and we need to have band practice. Chase leaves Wednesday for Red Baron tour, so we only have fom now til Tuesday to go over the Spring Break songs for the July 10 show. Speaking of which, anyone who reads this should come to this show:
July 10 @ New Brookland Tavern
Dead Hearts
Fallen From the Sky
Red Baron
Spring Break 98
Whole Wheat Bread
I will update this later with the cost, but its prob like 10 bucks and doors at 7?
Www.newbrooklandtavern.com and check the calendar. If I wasn't posting fom my sidekick I would do it myself.
Chase, if you read this, comment with a link to those Red Baron vids.

Scene sucks
Who remembers this?
I think the first time I saw this (years ago) I cried multiple times and instant messaged all my friends to see if they had seen it. Brings back memories.
Personal favorite part:
dude 1: "Oh dude, I heart your car, it rocks! I heart it alot."
dude 2: "Dude, not as much as the new All American Doorknob cd!"
dude 1: "Ohhhh snap! That does rock! I heart that too!"
[edit]
Here is the second part of the Scene Sucks video series. Not as funny, but still pretty ridiculous.

Where I live
I was on break from work yesterday and made a 3 video sequence of where I live to give you that don't live in Columbia an idea. It came out really dark, but I honestly am too lazy to re-do them. So deal!
Outside.
Inside front door of building.
Inside my apt.
This is how we live!

BBQ YUM
I just got home from work, and am about to shower before riding to trivia with Andy and Zach. I just wanted to reiterate the fact that my life rules by posting the following videos:
-bored Rambling in the car(It was pointed out by Andy that I say its July 24 when in reality it is a month earlier. What the duck?!)
-Where I work
-Too sexy for my hat
On to drinking sweet tea, eating bbq, and winning trivia!

My mom is a saint
As I was driving around for work today, I got a phone call fom my mom. This is a completely normal thing, considering I am a huge "Momma's boy" and talk to her at least once a day. She called just to see how I am doing, and to ask about college stuff. She also told me she misses me and wants me to come home soon. Let me start by saying my mom isa complete beast in the kitchen. She is a southern woman, mother of 3, and has been cooking for the entire family 7 days a week for 24 years. Anyhow, so she always cooks when I go home to visit, because she knows that I am not getting that kind of food here. She also wants to give me(sometimes forcibly so) groceries, paper towels and tissue paper, and all other things essential to a household. I say all of this to get the point across that my mom is indeed a saint. I will be the first to admit I have made bad choices/decisions throughout my 24 years, and I undoubtedly will make more. Even though I have screwed up, asked for money a hundred times over, and falen flat on my adult face, she is unflinching in her quest to completely support me and whatever it is I am trying to do with my life. If I call and I am bummed about something, she always gives good advice. When I mess up, she hasn't ever gotten mad or upset, she just says "its ok" and offers consolation. When I have ever needed money (lord knows I've asked for that way too many times) she would never say anything negative, she would just ask "how much do you need?" It honestly is completely amazing to me that someone can be so completely selfless. In my eyes she cannot be topped; she is eternally reigning champion. She is the very definition and epitomy of what a mother should be. Maylene and the Sons of Disaster said it best: "you can't help but be blessed when you've been raised by Gods finest." I love you mom! Thanks for being a complete badass and ruling at life.
On a second note, it should also be said that I also have the absolute best friends in the entire world. Throughout my adult life and living in Columbia, making dumb decisions, being an idiot, even moving to Atlanta and back: none of them gave me crap for it. When I moved to Atlanta, they helped me move. When I needed to move back, they didn't say a word. They just drove 3 hours and helped pack the truck. All the times I've needed advice and any help with ANYTHING, they have always been there. I am completely thankful that God has blessed me with all the amazing people in my life. I am truly blessed. Bj, Chase, Andy, Zach, Chris Carroll: I would lay down in traffic for any of you. You are the last of a dying breed and the very definition of a friend and I sincerely hope that one day I can be as good a friend to you as you have been to me.

Workin'
I am about to leave to go to work, and boy am I tired. I am almost done uploading all the videos I have taken, so that rules. Maybe today I will actually get caught up. I worked out yesterday and I am sore as hell. Today is trivia at Hudsons BBQ, which totally rules. Our team consists of BJ and Megan, Chase and Erin, and Zach and I. To keep you entertained, here is a video of Zach and I eating 5 Guys. If you haven't ever eaten 5 Guys, get into it. BEST burger in town.

Whataburger/Whatatrip
On the ride home from Florida, we were all famished, so we tried desperatly to find an eating establishment that was not a Mcdonalds or Waffle House. To our dismay, there were none to be found. That is, until we stumbled upon Whataburger. None of us had ever eaten there before, aka we were Whatavirgins. We decided to take the plunge (no pun intended) and try it out. Here is the video.
Also, a few other minute long clips were filmed at various points in between Whataburger and home, you can view those here and here.
Side Note: About 1 minute and 46 seconds into the last clip, you will hear Andy say "Almost....We're at a stoplight and then getting home.." At this point in the background you can listen close and hear me say "I wish you could possibly videotape this taste in my mouth..."
Awesome.

Chases Blog
I failed to mention last post that Chase also has a blog, and in it you will surely find similar happenings to those seen on this blog. However, in the short periods between when we hangout, im sure he will have things of interest to say and it will be awesome, so go check his blog here and subscribe.
Also, here is a funny video of Andy slipping when coming into the patio/the discussion of the storm and fish caught.

Slow Sonnys Service
Before I get into the explanation of this video, I should start by saying that my friends and I as a collective are barbeque connoisseurs. We love bbq, and eat it at least once a week. The southeast as a whole has many barbeque restaurants that are incredible, but as soon as you cross the Georgia-Florida border into Florida, the selection gets scarce. While in Ocala, we hit up Sonnys, a reputable 'que establishment. The service was super slow, and semi abysmal. That being said, here is the first video:
After eating Sonnys, it was a beautiful day outside, so we decided to go fishing. While fishing, or getting geared up to do so, I decided that I wanted to fish completely naked. You only live once right? How many people do you know that have gone fishing butt ass naked? Well, now you know two: Chase and I:
After seeing that, you now know someone who has been fishing in the nude. Allow me to "one-up" the previous video. In this other video, I have caught a fish while being naked. I win!
Sidenote, the next day Chase and Andy went fishing in the swamp across the street, and Andy caught a decent size bass and decided to try and put it into Chases parents pond. It started pouring on the way to do this, and heres a clip from that time period. Enjoy.

Poolside!
Chase's parents have a ridiculous house and pool, so we hit it up in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Video number 1:
Video number 2:
I failed to mention the pool is connected to the hottub by a waterfall. So ill.
Chase's parents are ballers, the end.

Welcome to Moes!
While in Florida, we had lunch at Moes right after I bought the Flip. Here's a short clip of it:
-Moes is backed hard.
-On a different note, uploading all these videos takes a while, but it will get done. I would like to get to the point where I only have to upload a few a day, and make one post a day. Whew!

Today I am trying to get all of the videos in chronological order so that I can post them. I think Chase is going to add the Red Baron live sets to his youtube account, so I will link those soon as well. Here is the first video, immediatly filmed after opening the Flip:
So stoked!

Bought a Flip!
It is 6 a.m. on Monday morning, I have to be at work in 2 hours, and I just got back from a 2 day long roadtrip with Chase and Andy Jr. We hit up Ocala and Brandon Florida for Red Baron shows, because Chase had to drive down to play. We figured we might as well ride with him, and that event led me here. On said roadtrip, I bought a Flip($150 video recorder) at Best Buy, and I've already got my moneys worth. As you will see very soon (as soon as I can go to Chase's and upload all the videos to photobucket and then post them on here) the Flip is honestly the best investment I have made in quite some time. If you don't own a video recorder of some type, I suggest you spend $150 and get a Flip. It is on point.
Who am I?
I originally didn't introduce myself or give any background info to this blog, so I figured I would go back and do just that.
My name is Chris Andrews and I live in Columbia, South Carolina. I was born in Macon, Georgia, a small town just south of Atlanta. I am both a believer in Jesus Christ and all things awesome relating to his existence, and I am also straightedge. I'm 24 years old, have yet to finish college and my parents are still bummed about it. However, in the past 5 years since I graduated highschool, I have played music and been terminally chill, most notoriously with Stretch Arm Strong and Spring Break 98. With Stretch I toured Europe and Mexico, as well as the United States. So, even though I don't have a college degree(yet), I'd like to think I have experiences and memories to show for being an idiot and not going straight to college. I also have and amazing life and amazing friends that warrant a blog with amazing videos of said amazing friends and the ridiculous party that is my life. There is Bj, Chase, Andy Jr., and multiple others that will be mentioned in this blog at some point or another. Most of this blog will be updates on things I'm doing, with pictures and videos of things that my friends and I deem video worthy. If you don't know me well, you may not think alot of these videos/posts are humorous. Some of them will be more serious, or used to document awesome happenings, but for the most part they will be pretty dang funny. Get into it.
I am going to take the time to also give the background behind the name of my blog, etc. I am pretty open to almost any type of music, including country. I was born and raised in the South, where country music is a huge part of the culture(generally speaking). If there is one song in the history of music that completely defines my life and my day to day existence, it is definetly "It's A Great Day To Be Alive" by Travis Tritt. You can see the lyrics here. I strongly suggest you download it, its completely amazing.
I guess that is all for now. Comment or don't, and enjoy this while it lasts!
